Are my characters “me” in disguise?
On writing characters… You can never tell with authors. They tend to write a part of themselves into their characters. Sometimes they even include a part of people they know. It’s difficult to tell sometimes, though. I honestly can see facets of my personality in each of my characters. Whether it is dialogue like my own speech (Pappy Oh) or an act that I would perform (Hope). It is threaded in there. I see my own naivety in Shannon. Three things I love about writing
What is it about writing that a writer loves so much? It takes a lot of personal time, it is oftentimes aggravating with its grammar and punctuation needs, and it can create crushing self doubt. So, why do so many of us do it, and keep doing it? Well, let me explain… Three things I love about writing I think we make marketing into a roaring tiger because we are so unfamiliar with it.
