Are my characters “me” in disguise?
On writing characters… You can never tell with authors. They tend to write a part of themselves into their characters. Sometimes they even include a part of people they know. It’s difficult to tell sometimes, though. I honestly can see facets of my personality in each of my characters. Whether it is dialogue like my own speech (Pappy Oh) or an act that I would perform (Hope). It is threaded in there. I see my own naivety in Shannon.
