World building is one of the most magical parts of writing. Especially when that world grows right alongside you. In Episode Nineteen of Writer Groupie Podcast, I’m talking about how your fictional worlds can evolve as your storytelling deepens.

When I first started writing The Magik Scarf, I thought I was building a small corner of the world. A farm, a forest, and a whisper of Magik. I was the one whispering. You IDIOT! The more I wrote, the larger Daegries became. New characters stepped into view (so many that book three has a CAST OF CHARACTERS LIST!) hidden realms popped up, and the whole fabric of this world got richer with every chapter.
