Hi friends!

It’s been a whirlwind of a season, and I wanted to pop in with a quick update on what’s been going on behind the scenes both in the world of The Magik Scarf and in my day-to-day life.

BOOK THREE IS TAKING SHAPE!

I’ve been hard at work writing book three in the World of Daegries series and I’m happy to report-it’s going well! The characters are tugging me deeper into the story, and there have been some magikal and sometimes unexpected moments. I can’t wait to share them with you! Without giving too much away, let’s just say Alyssa’s journey is far from over and the stakes are even higher.

Real life is busy, too

Outside the fantasy realm, I’ve been working more hours at the day job, which has been both rewarding and exhausting. Balancing the creative with the practical is always a dance, isn’t it? But I’m grateful for the stability and the inspiration that sometimes sneaks into the pages from my everyday life.

JULY COUNTDOWN

I am longing for vacation. July cannot get here soon enough. I’m dreaming of unplugging, breathing deeply, and letting my imagination stretch somewhere other than a computer screen or desk. I’m sure some scenes will make their way onto scribbles on napkins or typed into the notes on my phone while I am away because let’s be honest, writers never really take a break.
