Controversial post

This is going to be a controversial post. It is my decision to put it here on my website where I pay for space because there very likely will be others with a different opinion, and social media will allow them to spew nonsense ad nauseum. So, no. I am not putting it on social media.

Here it is:

Posting junk and low-quality memes on social media makes the experience worse for everyone. It fills up the feed with meaningless content, making it harder to find useful or interesting posts. These types of memes can also spread false information or promote negative ideas, creating a less friendly and enjoyable space. When people share poor content, it lowers the overall quality of what we see, making social media less fun and engaging.

There. I got that off my chest. David Gaughran said it better than me in his latest newsletter. He gave good reasons. I did not, most likely, but there you have it. I have done this mindless posting with no direction, so don’t call me out. But I am striving to make my feeds more scroll worthy.
